UrOops3D, danger-zone atlas
For departments and training programmes

Bring operative anatomy
into the teaching room.

Use the animations and complication cards to prepare a discussion, revisit an operative danger zone or practise a viva. Explore the current resource, then contact us about a teaching walkthrough.

Ways to use it

Before the list, during teaching, after the discussion.

  1. Explore a spatial relationship.

Choose an operation and use its schematic anatomy to frame a supervised discussion.

  2. Discuss one complication together.

Open an UrOops Card in teaching mode and work through the prompts with the room.

  3. Continue with individual revision.

Trainees can complete the linked drill, rate their confidence and print their own learning record.

Personal learning records

Completed drills, self-rated confidence and a reflection form a printable personal record in the trainee's browser. Any sharing is their choice. The site has no departmental reporting dashboard or automatic cohort aggregation.

How the resource works

Personal revision, kept in the browser.

  • No account required Scores, confidence ratings, the suggested schedule and reflections are saved in the trainee's browser. They are not sent to a central training record. Clearing site data removes them; a download and printable record are available on the progress page.
  • No patient data, ever Models are stylised teaching schematics built from open datasets or synthetically. The product does not ingest DICOM and describes no real patient.
  • Text alongside the models Cards and procedure text remain available when an interactive model cannot load. Drills need JavaScript, and access to the public site depends on the local network. Contact us to discuss a teaching setup for your department.
  • Clinical governance Teaching only, not for diagnosis or treatment decisions. Read the citation policy and how to report an error.
