Operative Dictations in Urologic Surgery
Armenakas NA, Fracchia JA, Golan R. Anterior vaginal prolapse repair (cystocele). Chapter 91. Wiley, 2019
The indication (a central and a lateral defect), the six essential steps and their order, the template dictation followed step by step here, the variations (an inverted-U incision, colporrhaphy alone for a central defect, mesh over the plication, a concurrent sling, an intravenous dye before cystoscopy, a suprapubic catheter, a vaginal pack) and the complication list. Its sizes are not on the page. The chapter lists complications without their management: the first, escalate and document steps are general surgical practice, and so are the danger lines that do not restate its own cautions.
