The scenario
- Transurethral incision of the prostate for a small gland with a high bladder neck.
What you see
- The single incision at 7 o'clock runs from just distal to the ureteric orifice, through the neck, towards the verumontanum.
- Glandular tissue parts, then a smooth surface with circular fibres appears in the depth.
