    Assessment

    • Three findings define the operation: the ectopic meatus on the ventral shaft, ventral chordee on the artificial erection test, and the hooded prepuce, deficient ventrally, which is the skin bank for cover.

    Chordee correction

    • The penis is degloved to the root and erection repeated.
    • Residual bend after skin release is corrected by shortening the dorsal tunica at 12 o'clock, strictly midline, clear of the bundle either side.
  3. 03

    Glans wing elevation

    • The glans wings are lifted off the lateral edges of the plate, so the plate is left standing as a bare midline strip from meatus to glans tip.
  4. 04

    Midline plate incision

    • One deep midline incision along the plate relaxes and widens the strip.
    • Strictly in the midline: lateral cuts devascularise the plate the repair is built from.
  5. 05

    Tubularisation over a stent

    • The lateral plate edges are brought together over a stent into a tube: a running subcuticular absorbable line, watertight and tension-free.
  6. 06

    Glansplasty + skin cover

    • The glans wings fold back over the neourethra and the hooded skin is rotated ventrally to cover the shaft without tension.
  7. 07

    Dressing + stent care

    • A firm dressing and the stent secured to stop traction on the repair.
    • The stent drains freely and comes out on the planned day, not before.
