The scenario
- Bulbar urethroplasty.
- The bulbospongiosus is split and the bulbar urethra is mobilised on its ventral surface.
What you see
- The spongiosum is soft and pink proximally and distally.
- In the middle it becomes pale, firm and narrow, and the vessels on its surface stop.
